This surcoat is inspired by the French fashion of the 14th century.

This is an outer garment, which was worn over the Cotte (the Untergewand / -kleid).

Like the Cotte, the surcoat was worn by both men and women alike, with women later portrayed as Surcot and Cotte, in contrast to the early pictures of the men's surcoat in the 13th century.

The surcoat was made of wool sleeveless, wide and pleated.

Material: 100% wool
